New Intra-Arrest Cooling Method May Save More Brains During Cardiac Arrest – Study Unveiled at AHA Late Breaking 'Best of Best' Presentation Shows Survival Benefit

Orlando, Florida – November 15, 2009 – The first randomized intra-arrest cooling study performed using a novel intra-nasal cooling method showed much faster and earlier cooling in treated patients and significantly higher neurologically intact survival-to-discharge rate in many patients.

BeneChill Raises $13.5 Million Series C

San Diego, CA – July 15, 2009 – BeneChill today announced it has closed a $13.5 million Series C financing. New investor HealthCap (Stockholm) led the financing. Series A and B investors MedVenture Associates and NGN Capital also participated. Proceeds will be used to fund early commercialization of the company's RhinoChill device.

BeneChill Launches European Study of Intra-Arrest Cooling

San Diego, CA – February 2, 2009 – BeneChill, Inc. today announced the start of the PRINCE (Pre-Resuscitation Intra-Nasal Cooling Effectiveness) study. This randomized study will determine whether intra-nasal cooling using BeneChill's RhinoChill device during resuscitation increases patient resuscitation and survival rates.
